The BODiWORKS Centre for Lifestyle & Performance is place for anyone who endeavours to improve themselves both physically and emotionally. We have been providing personal advice in the areas of health, physical activity and nutrition through BODiWORKS since 1995. You can expect honest and insightful answers to your most challenging questions. We have had the pleasure of helping over 3000 clients in the past 10 years
Our main services include Adult Health consulting for fitness, Exercise Therapy for those that have been injured or suffer chronic ailments and Sport Performance for aspiring or achieved athletes. These have been consistent over the years. We have provided exercises and advice to a variety of persons with a variety of concerns for instance: decrease body weight, those with rheumatoid arthritis, brain injured clients, persons with spinal disorders, persons with depression, diabetics, OHL hockey players, teen weight management.
In 2007 we have added a certificate course termed AMD - Adapted Motor Development for the purpose of educating professionals on the skills of adapted activity and neuromotor development in children.
As lifelong advocates of health and good living we promote this in three ways: 1) The BODiWORKS Centre is our main service for the general public in which we work directly with clients on a daily a basis and present seminars and lectures to a vast array of audiences. 2) In 1999 we founded the National Exercise Prescription Accreditation process which educates and certifies individuals pursuing the field of exercise prescription and health studies. 3) The Freedom Initiatives Health Corp is our consulting and research firm for corporate health and information. In the last four years we have added Special Programs to our services at the BODiWORKS Centre. These are the Adapted Gym Program, the Kids Health Initiative Program and Add Years to Your Life Senior's Program.
