Apprenticeship in Exercise Prescription

A unique and advanced teaching model for learning about the details of Exercise Prescription (ExRx).  Once completed the staff will receive a certificate of achievement and a position working here at the Centre.  The BODiWORKS Centre works with clients of all ages and abilities.  This is truly a one of a kind experience and will advance a candidate beyond personal fitness knowledge.

Apprenticeship in Adapted Gym Program

The Adapted Gym Program services special needs children one on one for remediation of motor skills and behaviour.  Various skills and experience required.  Preferably 3rd or 4th year University or beyond.  Degrees from Health Sciences, Psychology, Sociology, Education or  Disability Studies preferable.  A certificate of completion of the hours applied is given.  Also a requirement is successful completion of the A.M.D. (Adapted Motor Development) Course and Certificate.  Once completed the apprentice requirement, eligible for Special Needs Instructor position.  Many good candidates are looking for the experience to apply to teacher's college.
